The SPF Group is a blend of spruce, pine, and fir, in various proportions. Québec lumber stamped S-P-F is the wood most widely used in the Canadian construction sector. Québec has built its reputation on the exceptional strength of its slow-growing wood species.

Québec lumber stamped S-P-F has a variety of usages : Home repair/do-it-yourself market, paneling, carpentry, structural lumber, flooring, structural lumber for use in framing, pallets and packaging, formwork, renovation and secondary homes, etc.

Regular members of the Québec Forest Industry Council (QFIC) are represented on the overseas by the Quebec Wood Export Bureau (Q-WEB).
