Massive Wood Frame and Engineered Wood

CLT Cross-Laminated Timber/X-Lam

Manufacturers

The cross-laminated timber (CLT) is composed of cross-wise glued-laminated black spruce boards. The result is a building material high in resistance and stiffness that can easily substitute steel or concrete.

Cross-laminated timber (CLT) allows for flexible design. It is a new addition to classic engineered wood products available and is used for wall, floor/ceiling and roof applications.

Cross-laminated timber (CLT) can be perfectly combined with other buildings materials (steel, concrete, glass, etc.) in addition to other engineered wood products such as glue-lam, also allows for design flexibility.

Excellent dimensional stability due to bi-directional build-up.

Primarily a structural material that can also be used as a visible element in commercial, multi-residential and residential buildings.
