The QWEB welcomes to its team Mr. Alex Fortin who will act as integrator of Internet and social media content. Having a background in media arts and technology from Cégep de Jonquière as well as a certificate in communication from Laval University, he has accumulated, in recent years, experience as a journalist and editor with companies like TC Media, Radio-Canada Sports, and CTV News. As part of his new role, Mr. Fortin will contribute to highlighting the expertise of QWEB members on the various electronic platforms and websites of the organization in order to increase their influence in national and international ways. He will ensure rigorous monitoring of the wood products industry and will deal with current affairs by taking stock of the issues, the economy and innovations in the field with objectivity and accuracy. He will maintain and develop these communication tools and ensure their efficiency and reliability. Welcome to the QWEB Alex team!
