QWEB welcomes Mr. Frédéric Jacques to its team as manager of the hardwood and flooring groups.
With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Laval University, Mr. Jacques has accumulated some 20 years of experience in business development and management as a manager in charge of the production, development, and marketing of sawmill products, wood structures, and construction products. Throughout his career, Mr. Jacques has worked in the hardwood industry, developing innovative solutions to complete large-scale projects.
In his new role, Mr. Jacques will be called upon to respond to the needs of his members in terms of market access and export promotion. He will also collaborate in the development of seminars and conferences on industry issues. He will accompany members to trade shows, networking activities, and international missions to maintain business relations between Quebec manufacturers and overseas buyers, thereby promoting export opportunities.
